A Team of volunteers for Ripple vision foundation lead by Paulina of Eje Lina foundation on the 16th of June embarked on data collection for out of school kids whom parents could not afford to pay school fees and other levies in Benue state.

We went to the river bank ( River Benue) at Wadata Makurdi Benue state where we met with the Riverbank community chief, he applauded the effort of Ripple vision foundation getting kids back to school and we were directed to Christ African Church school which is is a government school in Wadata community,
We got to the school a few minutes to 12 pm and met with the assistant headteacher who was covering the Mr Josephine Beetseh and she also applauded the efforts of NGOs standing up for the less privileged and appreciated the efforts of RVF to take kids back to school and kit them up.
We were led to various classrooms and the kids were not looking presentable also many of them had bad uniforms while most of them had no sandals, books and bags etc
The names of the kids who badly needed help and we promised to be back by September when RVF will come to their aid.
Names of kids who badly need help from these schools are;
F) Favour Benjamin uniform, bag, book, sandals) Silas Isaac uniform, bag, book, sandals) Aminu Murtala. ||M) Muktar Usman. ||M) Isah Abdulaziz ||F)Favour Daniels. ||F) Suleman Sasaru. ||M) Adamu Abdullahi. ||M)yahaya Musa ||M) Ibrahmi Abdulahi. ||M) Sonto Onyeka. ||M) Yusuf Abdulahi. ||M) Shaibu Suleman. ||M)Mustapha Saadu. ||M) Usman Ruwanu. ||F) amina Umar. ||F) Berikisu Isah. ||F) Rukaya Abubarkar. `||F) kadija Abdulahi. ||F) Amina Abdulahi. ||F) Amira Lukeman. ||F) Ojukwu Rachel. ||
And more kids but because of time, we promised to make extra provisions for bags, uniforms, books and sandals for the other kids who also had needs but not as crucial as the above-mentioned names for this class. The school’s total population is 1700.
We moved to success primary school, where the proprietress expressed so much joy seeing us and pleaded the kids saying most of them are dropping out due to their inability to pay school fees of 6500 per term and headed up to the secondary school where we met with the principal Mr Salish who told us the condition of some students and how very intelligent they are however has dropped out and pleaded that the NGO come to the aid of the kids.
Days June 17th 2019
We left as early as 8 am and travelled to a nearby community here in Makurdi Benue state ( Shiegh village to be precise) the presence of kids were less and this was due to having no exams for the day however met a few.
Ginde mindset nursery and primary school is a nursery, primary and secondary school. The headteacher miss Tessy Abuul complained bitterly about parents inability to kit up their kids and pay the school fee of 5000 nairas, we were able to see the kids and promised to be back by September.
We further proceeded to LGEA primary school Gboko road Makurdi Benue state. and met with headteacher Mrs Maria Akaakuma we couldn’t round up with the name collection as we had already exhausted the time so we promised to pick the names and see how we can do something for the kids by September.
